I have always enjoyed art and creating things, and a couple of years ago I started making jewelry again after several years hiatus. I like to work with real gemstones and sterling silver for the most part. My favorite stones are tourmaline, turquoise, kyanite, and amethyst. I especially enjoy the bi-color stones like watermelon tourmaline and striped fluorite.

I set my shipping costs to enough to cover actual shipping and the cost of envelopes and packing material (light packet air mail from Canada to the US is the cheapest and starts at $2.27+13% tax.) Realize that shipping to the US from Canada is slow and usually takes 6-10 business days, although it can take longer. Customs and Homeland Security slow things up considerably compared to mail within the US.
